Erin Lloyd Gordon is a Sr. Principal Analyst in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider research organization, advising Technology CEOs in startup and midsize enterprises. Ms. Gordon researches customer acquisition (including sales effectiveness) and the challenges that arise at the intersection of sales and marketing. Recent research addresses account-based marketing (ABM) implementation and how to involve Sales in product launches. Ms. Gordon's research for technology CEOs also includes product strategy; particularly the roles and talent needed to build marketable products.
Ms. Gordon is a founding member of Gartner's Women in Technology Executive Leadership (WTEL) research initiative. Within the context of Gartner's Technology and Service Provider role-based research, WTEL's mission is to advance women's leadership across the tech sector, address women client's professional challenges related to gender, and advocate women's executive leadership in technology.
Ms. Gordon was formerly a product manager for both Gartner's High Tech and Telecom programs and Gartner for Marketers, with experience in product launches, go-to-market planning, positioning and messaging, and sales training and enablement.
