Fabrizio Biscotti (Twitter: @fab_biscotti) is part of the team of analysts who cover go-to-market strategy and messaging / differentiation for B2B high tech clients within the Technology Marketing Practice in the Gartner Technology and Service Provider (TSP) research organization.

Mr. Biscotti contributes to tech go-to-market research, marketing, messaging, positioning, storytelling and go-to-market strategies including geographical market entry. From a technology/market perspective, he is responsible for the coverage of the application infrastructure and middleware (AIM) and PaaS markets and advises vendors and end users on key dynamics and opportunities. His particular focus is on platform middleware (application platform software, aPaaS, Low Code/No Code), robotic process automation (RPA), event-brokers and messaging infrastructure, event stream processing platforms (ESPs), business process management suites (BPMS), full life cycle API management and digital experience platforms (DXP). On the integration middleware side, he covers the macro trends relevant both for vendors and end users. He also looks at market activities surrounding platform as a service (PaaS) as a whole.

In the past, Mr. Biscotti has served as Gartner's Vendor Lead Analyst covering a major software vendor and has managed several research agendas: for European software coverage, for worldwide infrastructure software market studies and for the entire enterprise software market dynamics.

He earned twice the Gartner's Research Achievement Award in recognition of outstanding achievement within the research organization.

Previous experience

Before joining Gartner, Mr. Biscotti completed research projects for RHOSS, an Italian manufacturing company, and worked for Officine Forgiarini, which participates in the production of robotics and industrial automation.
