Heather Wheatley is a Senior Director Analyst within Gartner's Supply Chain Group. Ms Wheatley's research interests include supply chain risk identification and assessment, risk reporting, sustainable supply chain, assessment and audit.
She helps Gartner clients to effectively identify, analyze and manage supply chain risks based on organizational risk appetite, process and product type. Her work aims to show how proactive supply chain risk management can increase stakeholder value, enhance agility and help to deliver organizational goals. Her interests include helping organizations to consider and implement optimum risk responses to diverse and complex challenges.
She has more than 25 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, within corporate, defense and not for profit environments. She is a Chartered Auditor, CMIIA, 2008
Before joining Gartner, Ms Wheatley worked for Johnson Matthey Plc and Tesco in the areas of risk management, security, business continuity, sustainability, compliance and audit. She also has experience in UK Defence businesses.
