Jill Silva-Braga is a team manager in Gartner's Technology Product Marketing team. She manages analysts and advisors who cover go-to-market strategy and messaging / differentiation for B2B high tech clients. Ms. Silva-Braga is also the Advisory Leader for Gartner's Technology Service Providers (TSP) business and has over 15 years experience working with Fortune 500 executives and their teams.
Previously, Ms. Silva-Braga was a Senior Director, Advisory in the Gartner Research & Development Leadership Council. She partnered with CTOs and heads of R&D to plan their investments and deliver more new-to-world products and services. Ms. Silva-Braga specialized in building strategic plans and technology vision roadmaps, improving the front end of innovation, refining metrics and portfolio management programs, and fostering a culture of innovation.
In addition to thought leadership support for executives, Ms. Silva-Braga provided tactical coaching for R&D managers and led in-person trainings and workshops for R&D executives and their teams.
"Prior to Gartner, Ms. Silva-Braga was a strategy consultant at IBM working with financial services companies to transform their customer buying processes. She also was a public relations account executive at Ruder Finn, New York's largest independent PR firm, focused on corporate and crisis communications in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Ms. Silva-Braga is co-author of the book The Marriage Test and has appeared on the Today Show, Rachel Ray, NPR's The Takeaway and the New York Post."
