Jo-Ann Clynch is a Senior Director Analyst in the Energy and Utility Industry team. Ms. Clynch focuses on business aspects of the energy transformation and use of IT, Operational Technology (OT), cyber resiliency and intelligent operations to help clients transform processes and deliver commercial value by leveraging secure and innovative solutions.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Clynch worked in the energy and utility industry for 34 years with experience in electric utility operations, information technology, operational technology, cyber resiliency, quality, innovation, business continuity and supply chain.
Ms. Clynch held leadership roles in various business areas within the energy and utility industry including operations, real-time grid control systems and applications, digital transformation and cyber resiliency. Ms. Clynch has extensive experience in grid modernization and applications that combine inputs from intelligent devices, sensors and resource data to drive improved reliability and efficiency. She earned peer and industry recognition by driving commercial value with data analytics and real-time technologies.
