Joachim Herschmann is a Sr. Director, Analyst on the App Design and Development team. Mr. Herschmann's research focuses on enterprise strategies for Application Development and DevOps. Prior to joining Gartner, he was with Micro Focus where he was responsible for the company's automated testing offerings. Previously at Borland, he was leading a global team of product managers and marketers and responsible for the company's Life Cycle Quality Management suite of products. Earlier in his career, he was a technical sales engineer and consultant in the software testing and quality assurance space. He was also a consultant specializing in the implementation, testing and launching of large-scale website projects.
