John Kostoulas is a Senior Director Analyst in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider (T&SP) research group focused on human capital management (HCM) technologies, processes and services.
Mr. Kostoulas spends most of his time advising HCM technology and service providers of various sizes, from startup to established, across the world through published research and daily interactions. Topics include market opportunity, strategy, product roadmap, positioning, go-to-market and operations for their products and services. He also advises technology and service providers on how to address their challenges around talent, culture and capabilities, and how to build strong product teams.
In addition, he supports HR and IT leaders on decisions related to talent management and HR service delivery redefinition due to digitalization, scaling of diversity and inclusion across all levels of the organization, and enhancement of employee experience in a fragmented HCM technology landscape.
Before joining Gartner, Mr. Kostoulas had 16 years of holistic experience and a solid track record in human capital technology and transformation from the perspectives of service providers, vendors and end customers. He has led numerous global-scale initiatives for world-class organizations on global implementation of leading technology solutions including: change management, technology operations and adoption, global service delivery/process/metrics design, global shared services/BPO business case creation/setup/transition, and organizational design of various functions.
