Jonathan Keeney is a research director for Gartner's Risk Management Leadership Council. He manages the ERM Program Management initiative and leads Gartner's annual signature research study for Heads of ERM. He studies best practices for risk management executives, providing thought leadership and actionable guidance to help his clients manage risk in their organizations and optimize their functions. In previous roles at Gartner, Jonathan supported procurement, finance and shared services leaders.

Previous experience

Prior to joining Gartner, Jonathan studied decision-making, organizational culture and workplace safety in a variety of industries, including healthcare, finance, transportation and offshore drilling. He also taught courses in negotiations, business ethics and organizational behavior to executive, MBA and undergraduate students at the University of Notre Dame and University of North Carolina.
