Joni Renick

Joni leads a global team of experts who support and advise on communications topics for senior leaders of Marketing and Communications. She is responsible for line management, budget & resource allocation, strategic planning, sales enablement, reporting, and coaching. Joni also partners closely with leadership teams across research and advisory as well as the commercial and service organizations to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across the different communities.

Previous experience

Prior to managing the communications advisory team, Joni worked directly with leaders of communications and their teams across the U.S. and Canada to help them solve challenges and implement on key priorities. For example, she spent time advising and training on strategic planning, managing change and strategic organizational communications, building corporate brand and narrative, as well as effectively developing messaging and channel strategies.

Before her time as an advisor Joni managed public relations at Corporate Executive Board and SNV USA with the goal of establishing trust and building the thought leadership profile for key experts, executives, and the organizations at large.

Joni developed relationships with and pitched national and international media, managed partnerships with key players in the media, business and NGO/governmental space, and prepped executives and experts for media interviews. In addition she built communications strategic plans and managed key vendor and agency relationships.
