Kabeh Vaziri

Managing Vice President

Kabeh Vaziri is a Managing Vice President, Analyst. Her research focuses on reimagining work, ways of working, and workforce for AI. Reimagining a process and team for an AI future is very hard to do. Every enterprise knows that AI presents an enormous opportunity for almost every part of the organization. But frustratingly, the redesign teams don’t even know where to start — except for a vague promise that eliminating headcount through AI automation is a way forward. Kabeh's research empowers global leads to act on changes to work, jobs and talent in the era of AI.

In addition to her role at Gartner, Kabeh serves on the faculty at Cornell University where she teaches topics such as AI Value Creation and Managing a Culture of Innovation to Master of Engineering students. This work gives her direct visibility into the evolution of next-generation technical talent alongside enterprise transformation.

Previous experience

Kabeh has led global research teams and built firm-wide research and product capabilities that shape how Gartner serves CIOs and executive leaders. As Chief of Research, she launched Gartner’s Executive FastStartTM program globally, accelerating the transition of senior leaders across more than 20 executive roles and guiding them through inflection points driven by technology, organizational change, and evolving leadership expectations.

Earlier in her career, Kabeh led IT Leaders research at CEB and served as Chief of Staff to the Chief Product Officer at a healthcare IT startup, where she operationalized product strategy and built new organizational capabilities in a fast-scaling environment.

Kabeh holds a PhD in systems engineering from Cornell University and a master’s degree in mathematical modeling and economics in public decision making from the Johns Hopkins University.
