Karen Lockhart is part of Gartner Consulting's Professional Development team. She works on a combination of people-related strategic initiatives and learning and development programs. Based out of the Arlington, Virginia, office, she previously led consulting engagements for clients in various industries for Gartner Consulting. Ms. Lockhart also has more than 12 years of experience as an IT project manager leading software projects through the full system development life cycle with responsibility for COTS software evaluation and selection, requirements definition and analysis, application development, quality assurance and implementation.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Lockhart was a Director at the Corporate Executive Board, where she worked on a variety of initiatives including leading the implementation of large, complex technology projects as well as engagements to help organizations assess and improve supplier management activities. She has also worked for Sprint, where she led software implementation projects for Service Assurance applications.
