Kevin Quinn is a Research Analyst in Gartner's Technology and Service Provider Group. Mr. Quinn covers the Analytics and Business Intelligence, IoT Analytics and Data Science Markets with a deep familiarity with products that span the analytics capability continuum (including, data preparation, data science and machine-learning, augmented analytics, insight discovery and visualization, reporting, dashboarding, analytic app creation, and sharing and collaboration).

Mr. Quinn has worked in the business intelligence and analytics space for over 30 years. His previous roles include product management and marketing. Most recently, he was VP of Product Management and prior to that he served as VP of Product Marketing for a top ABI vendor.
He has held management/leadership roles setting product strategy and consulting with high profile clients on best practices in analytics. He is an accomplished author of dozens of white papers including; Developing an Information Strategy: How To Use Analytics To Drive Business Improvements. He has a particular expertise in predictive and prescriptive web apps, self-service analytic tools, Search-based analytic apps and natural language processing.
