Laura Rainier is a Senior Research Director in the Talent and Sustainability team. Laura's research interests include sustainable supply chain, circular economy, responsible sourcing and supply chain climate strategies. She helps Gartner clients to understand and apply sustainability principles within the supply chain in alignment with their organizational requirements and goals. Her work aims to show how effective sustainability strategies can enable supply chain leaders to achieve their mission-critical goals and enhance profitability, while improving environmental and social impact.
She has more than 10 years of experience designing and embedding ESG strategies into core business practices in a large corporate environment. She has served on the Steering Committee of key business and multi-stakeholder initiatives, including the Global Fashion Agenda and the UN International Labour Organizations Global Business Network on Forced Labor.
Before joining Gartner, Ms. Rainier worked for a global supply chain solutions provider in the areas of supply chain sustainability, circular economy, responsible sourcing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
