Lloyd Jones is a Senior Director Research working with utilities across electric, gas and water. Mr. Jones has been engaged in utility engineering, system planning, information technology and corporate planning and industry structure for more than 28 years. Before joining Gartner in 2019, he worked as a consultant in enterprise asset management, covering systems and process. Previously Mr. Jones worked as an internal consultant developing line of business strategies in response to regulatory and market shifts, driving the adoption of energy as a service, enabled through a platform strategy that spanned smart meters to predictive command centres. Mr. Jones has extensive experience across IT leadership roles including enterprise architecture, project delivery, operations and analytics.
