Luke Ellery is a VP Analyst in Gartner's Procurement, Asset and Vendor Management team, helping clients with IT procurement strategy, transformation and operations. Mr. Ellery has extensive experience in sourcing strategy development, contract negotiation, risk management, go-to-market strategies and vendor management, as well as experience leading large procurement transformations.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Ellery led technology sourcing for a large Australian bank, involving the definition of the sourcing strategy, the procurement of technology and services, and management of large transformation programs involving outsourcing, multisourcing and cloud computing (SaaS, IaaS, aaS).
He has extensive experience working with CIOs and senior leaders, regulators, and major technology organizations. Previous roles include vendor management, relationship management, and project and program management within the banking, services and primary production industries.
