With more than 30 years of experience as a strategic executive and change agent, she works closely with senior leadership teams to define enterprise strategy, strengthen leadership effectiveness, and translate strategic priorities into measurable business outcomes. Her advisory work spans enterprise transformation, operating model design, governance, talent, and organizational capabilities.
A key part of her role is supporting executives in the transition toward AI-enabled ways of working. She helps organizations responsibly integrate artificial intelligence into business strategy and execution, addressing technology, data, leadership, culture, skills, and human readiness.

Prior to her current role, Maria Cristina held senior executive leadership positions, including Chief Information Officer in Latin America. In these roles, she led large-scale technology and business transformation initiatives, defined enterprise operating models, and oversaw complex portfolios of strategic investment programs, working closely with executive committees and senior leadership teams.
Throughout her career as a CIO and senior executive, she partnered with leaders to modernize core platforms, strengthen governance and risk management, improve operational efficiency, and enable digital and data-driven capabilities. This experience provides her with a pragmatic, execution-informed perspective that strengthens her ability to advise today’s C-level executives as they navigate transformation, organizational change, and increasing organizational complexity.
Maria Cristina holds a degree in Systems Engineering and a Master’s degree in Marketing.
