As a Senior Advisory Specialist in the Advisory Talent Lab, McKenzie Smith assists Tech Product Marketers with their first sales meeting strategies and messaging and positioning. Ms. Smith understands and diagnoses challenges, recommends specific plans of actions, and collaborates with leadership and other relevant stakeholders on best practices for solution implementation.
Previously, Ms. Smith was a member of the Gartner Sales Advisory team, assisting Heads of Sales, Heads of Sales Enablement, and Heads of Sales Operations. From 2016 to 2019, at hyper-growth green tech startup Arcadia Power, Ms. Smith mastered Arcadia Power's proprietary software-as-a-service (SaaS) technological platform and assisted the prospective and existing members via phone, email, and instant chat. She also contributed directly to the development of an internal quality assurance (QA) process to ensure consistency and high-service levels, and an external customer success protocol to educate their members.
