As an Advisory Principal on the Tech Product Marketing team in the Technology and Service Providers (TSP) practice, McKenzie Smith assists Tech Product Marketers and Tech and Startup CEOs with messaging and positioning, website and marketing and sales collateral reviews, sales process, responding to and winning RFPs, and analyst relations foundations. She graduated from the inaugural Gartner Advisory Talent Lab, an accelerator for high-performing early career employees, in December 2020.
Previously, Ms. Smith was a member of the Gartner Sales Advisory team, assisting Heads of Sales, Heads of Sales Enablement, and Heads of Sales Operations. From 2016 to 2019, at hyper-growth green tech startup Arcadia Power, Ms. Smith mastered Arcadia Power's proprietary software-as-a-service (SaaS) technological platform and assisted the prospective and existing members via phone, email, and instant chat. She also contributed directly to the development of an internal quality assurance (QA) process to ensure consistency and high-service levels, and an external customer success protocol to educate their members.
