Miao Yu is a Director Analyst responsible for covering a variety of topics across security, risk management and privacy, focusing primarily on security strategy and governance, impact of Chinese security regulations, security organizational design, security performance measurement and reporting, security framework and architecture and identity and access management.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Yu was the Information Security Manager at Daimler Greater China, and information security officer at FAW-Volkswagen Automotive, with breadth of experience across security management and technical areas. Responsible for security strategy, IT risk management, security committee steering, data protection, SDLC, application threat modelling, and other security technical solutions.
Prior to Daimler and FAW-Volkswagen, she was security product manager at DIPU Technology and at Huawei Technology Europe.
