Mr. Connaughton's special interests at Gartner are advising CIOs, Application Leaders responsible for Procurement and Sourcing applications, and CPOs on creating a long-term technology roadmap and the use of artificial intelligence to streamline supplier discovery, selection, contracting and risk management.
Mr. Connaughton has over 17 years of experience in supply chain and procurement research and advisory roles. Before Mr. Connaughton joined Gartner, he was a Research Director at The Hackett Group. Previous to that, he was a Principal Analyst at Forrester Research and a consulting manager at Manhattan Associates, JDA Software and Accenture.
