Peter Havart-Simkin is a member of Gartner's Technology CEO group specifically providing research and advisory to CEOs including start-up technology CEOs. Mr. Havart-Simkin's coverage includes corporate development, product strategy and launch as well as start-up Tech CEO advisory drawing on previous experience as a multiple company start-up tech CEO himself. In addition, Mr. Havart-Simkin has an emphasis on the IoT and Industrial IoT markets applying previous technology roles as a CTO and CMO and positions in corporate and strategic development and M&A. In this regard, his agenda includes helping technology vendors understand and navigate the IoT and IIoT landscape addressing the challenges of building IoT and IIoT solutions through assisting with strategy and decision making.
Mr. Havart-Simkin has over 30 years of business and technology industry experience having held both types of leadership positions in large and small software companies in both the U.S. and U.K. He has worked in large enterprises and has founded startups, including one of the first internet companies which resulted in an IPO on NASDAQ. He has held 'C' level roles in public software companies and has driven and been involved with a number of technology company mergers and acquisitions on both sides of the table.
