From ice-sheet melting fieldwork to alternative proteins for novel foods, my experience with AI and innovation ranges from scientific research to board-level strategy. I’ve built technology and the systems that govern it across industry, government and the development sector.

At IBM, I led transformation efforts for Fortune 500 companies across the Americas, Asia Pacific, and Australia; deployed $100M+ intelligent automation projects globally for Cargill’s food ingredients business; and architected the innovation management system for its health and nutrition categories.

My work with the public sector and regulators in Eastern Africa and Latin America informs how policy and ecosystem innovation can enable responsible AI strategies at national scale, drawing on my experience as an AI ethicist with the Inter-American Development Bank and senior policy advisor with CAIDP on the AI and Democratic Values Index.

With a strong academic background in AI Ethics and Society at Cambridge, AI for Business at Oxford’s Saïd Business School, and NYU Stern's Tech MBA, I interrogate how complex systems reveal why AI adoption succeeds or fails, particularly through institutional trust, power dynamics, and resource concentration. This has led my research from Antarctic sea-level rise prediction models to the ways artificial intimacy can erode social cohesion and pose risks to democracy.
