Roy Kannan is Senior Executive Partner at Gartner. In this role, he is trusted advisor to a selected number of CIOs, CTOs, CISOs and CDOs across S E Asia, who are all Members of Gartner's Executive Programs.
He helps his Members define, develop and execute to their organisation's mission-critical priorities and key initiatives, by leveraging the wealth of Gartner's Business & Technology Insights and thus help them and their organisations succeed in their mission.
Roy brings with him a rich repertoire of skills gleaned from more than 40 years of work experience in various business and leadership roles across the Asia Pacific region.
Roy's career has spanned both sides of the "IT industry table", so to speak. He has held senior roles in reputed SI and Consulting companies, providing strategy, solutions, consulting, governance, project management and other services to clients in a variety of industries. He has also sat on the customer side of the table during his tenure as CIO in three different companies.
Roy holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration.
