Ryan Mulcahy serves as an Analyst covering AI Transformation on Gartner's Tech CEO Team, providing advisory and research to technology CEOs. Mr. Mulcahy specializes in building AI-enabled revenue engines, defining go-to-market strategy, and accelerating teams from concept to initial revenue. He focuses on Zero-to-One GTM architecture, including the development of market narratives, sales motions, and pricing models optimized for the AI era. Central to his research and advisory is guiding leaders through AI business transformation and the deployment of agentic AI systems designed to radically increase execution speed across GTM, product, and marketing functions. Furthermore, he assists clients in utilizing AI to translate market signals into specific product requirements and tighten product-market feedback loops.
Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Mulcahy founded and served as Principal of Rezidency.ai, an AI-native GTM intelligence platform and advisory practice, where he guided CEOs through AI business transformations and commercial acceleration. Before that, he was the Chief Revenue Officer at Tagboard. In this role, he redesigned the commercial architecture across marketing, sales, operations, and client success, securing seven-figure enterprise partnerships with tier-one sports and broadcast networks. Previously, he was the Co-Founder and CEO of theStand, a future-of-work DTC brand scaled to seven-figure revenue and national distribution in 18 months. His executive commercial leadership also includes his tenure as SVP, Head of Americas & Global Commercial at Magnite (MGNI). There, he directed a 100-person global commercial organization, managed over $1 billion in ad spend, and closed over $250 million in strategic partnerships with hyperscalers. Earlier in his career, he directed global digital monetization, strategic partnerships, and SaaS sales for digital media brands including Allrecipes.com. Mr. Mulcahy holds an M.B.A. from the University of Washington's Michael G. Foster School of Business and a B.A. in Marketing and from Washington State University.
