Sam Berndt is a Senior Director in Gartner's Supply Chain research organization, leading studies and research-driven content on logistics.
Mr. Berndt provides study leadership on a variety of logistics topics (talent, strategy, technology investments) through in-depth interviews with supply chain leaders, data collection, and model development to ensure that Gartner's advice is supported by robust analysis. Recently completed studies for clients include tackling the skill gap myth, understanding new customer expectations for product quality, and how B2B organizations can differentiate and improve their last mile operations.
Mr. Berndt worked as a research director for the world's largest retail trade association and as an economist providing policy analysis and economic impact modeling of large U.S. federal regulations.
