Svetlana Golden is a Research Director and a Key Initiative Leader in Gartner's R&D research group.
Gartner's R&D practice develops insights, tools, benchmarks, and guidance for R&D and innovation leaders at large and midsized companies to help solve their most pressing challenges. Our ambition is to arm these leaders with unique, high-value research and indispensable advice on leveraging technologies and trends to create and deliver highly successful products and services.
Prior to Gartner, Svetlana worked for the U.S. Defense Threat Reduction Agency, managing programs under the Cooperative Threat Reduction initiative in the areas of biosafety and biosecurity. One such projects was the construction of the U.S.-funded Central Reference Laboratory in Kazakhstan.
