Tim Moran is a Senior Director Analyst in Gartner's IT Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management team, helping clients with Third Party/Vendor Risk Management. Tim is focused on research that addresses TPRM/VRM organizational design and strategy including cost and risk optimization, Vendor Management and Procurement Operations.
Prior to joining Gartner Tim was the Regional Head of North America for Aquanima, a wholly owned subsidiary of Santander Bank. There he was responsible for Sourcing, Procurement, Contract Administration and TPRM Operations for the region. Tim was also the Head of Third Party Risk Management for Santander Bank N.A. where he was responsible for building, deploying and overseeing all aspects of the TPRM/VRM program. Tim also spent time with Citizens Bank and Fidelity Investments leading Vendor Assessment and Information Security teams. He has extensive experience working with executive leadership and regulators in the banking and financial services industries.
