Gartner Research Circle is an online community created to keep business leaders and professionals at the heart of Gartner business and research initiatives. Your input provides valuable insight to help shape the future of the industry.
Your contact information will only be used within the context of Research Circle and will not be used for marketing purposes or to sell you products and services.
We will use the research and information you give us to support Gartner in developing content to better meet your needs. We may publish survey results on gartner.com or in the press or use them in our internal marketing materials. All results will be published at an aggregate level and will be kept anonymous. More details can be found within the Gartner Privacy Policy.
Periodically, we like to surprise and delight our members who contribute regularly by sending gifts such as Amazon.com vouchers or charitable donations. Gartner recognizes that acceptance of gifts is prohibited for federal government and public sector employees in many global jurisdictions where we do business. In the U.S., acceptance of gifts by U.S. federal sector employees is prohibited under 5 C.F.R. Part 2635 of the Office of Government Ethics Regulations and also certain state regulations. If you are a federal government or public sector employee, you are encouraged to contact your in-house legal counsel for additional guidance. You can update your preference regarding receiving monetary gifts by emailing us at ResearchCircle@gartner.com.
We adhere to the Market Research Society Code of Conduct, so individual responses to surveys will not be shown. All responses are aggregated and anonymized unless you’ve specifically given consent to be individually identified.
Gartner is working with an independent market research agency, Verve, and its platform provider, Alida, to host the Research Circle website. You can verify Verve’s status as a legitimate market research company here via the Market Research Society (MRS): https://www.mrs.org.uk/standards/online-register. The MRS is the U.K.’s professional body for market research, and Verve is one of its accredited companies. Moderators will include Verve researchers, as well as colleagues from Gartner, who you will get to know over the course of different projects.
For as long as you want to participate. You can leave at any time using the Unsubscribe button at the bottom of the emails that you'll receive from us. Alternatively, you can email ResearchCircle@gartner.com requesting removal from the community.
If you haven’t had an email for a while, please make sure they haven’t been filtered into your junk mail or spam folder. We also suggest adding ResearchCircle@gartner.com to your safe senders list.
We try to ensure we only send you surveys that are relevant for you and are based on the needs of the business, so it may just be that recent surveys weren’t right for you.
Our aim is to provide members with insights from each survey conducted. In the Latest Research section of the hub, you'll find summary reports that highlight key findings from Gartner analysts. These summaries are available to you on the Latest Research page, accessible even if you did not participate in the research. You can view and review them at your convenience. Please note that while we may not provide updates on every research project, rest assured that all feedback is utilized and analyzed by Gartner.
You’ll be emailed a unique link for each survey you’re asked to complete. Simply click on the link included in the email or cut and paste it into a web browser. You can also log into Research Circle and check if there are any new research activities. We aim to keep surveys relatively short because we know you are busy.
Usually, one to two weeks. For polls, we tend have a shorter timeline of a few days to a week.
We’d love for you to participate in as many as you can. There’s no minimum or maximum, but we may review the membership of Research Circle for members who don’t participate.
We value your participation in Research Circle and are committed to your right to privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy for more information on how we protect you.
