Key Findings
Infrastructure and operations (I&O) organizations often have critical shortcomings when it comes to managing technology assets. These lead to downtime, excess costs and poor performance, which undermines the credibility of I&O leaders.
I&O leaders who equate process compliance and service-level achievement with I&O success miss opportunities to increase satisfaction with I&O offerings while reducing spending and effort on areas that do not matter much.
It is difficult for I&O leaders to account for the value enabled by I&O platforms, product offerings and innovation efforts without undermining the value proposition of their organization’s core responsibilities.
