At least once in the past year, 87% of employees were uncertain about their ability to comply, 77% felt that noncompliance would be reasonable and 40% wanted to noncomply in order to cause intentional harm.
Quality standards have a 2.1x greater impact than culture in reducing employee uncertainty about compliance.
Quality standards also have an impact on reducing rationalized noncompliance and malicious noncompliance, and they help foster a stronger culture of compliance.
