It discusses the primary reasons influencing members’ decision to deploy network micro-segmentation, teams responsible for the implementation, and challenges faced during the implementation process.

A plurality of respondents (5 of 12) have partially implemented network micro-segmentation in select areas of their organizations.
Three-fourths of the respondents (6 of 8) took more than a year to implement network micro-segmentation.
The majority of respondents (5 of 8) deploy micro-segmentation at the network level to enhance their network security and protection.
For most respondents (5 of 8), the responsibility of handling day-to-day operational support of their organization’s network micro-segmentation lies within their existing teams.
