Prior to joining Gartner, Mr. Anderson spent six years at Microsoft working in Microsoft's data center and cloud services business. His responsibilities included marketing strategy and execution, market intelligence, sales strategy, and business performance analysis. He has a long history of working with data center technologies and IT strategies with a focus on using technology as a business enabler.
Before working at Microsoft, he spent 12 years at Novell in a variety of roles, including engineering, product management, corporate strategy and product marketing. During this time, he was deeply involved in infrastructure, security, IT operations management and collaboration.
