Katherine Lord is a Practice Vice President in the Sourcing, Procurement and Vendor Management (SPVM) team within Gartner Research. Ms. Lord manages a global practice of experts who focus on publishing research and advising Gartner clients on best practices on deal negotiation strategies and contract terms with major software and cloud providers. Her practice also analyzes market trends impacting software/SaaS pricing and contracting.
Prior to her current position, Katherine was a Managing Vice president in SPVM, and prior to that a VP analyst in the I&O (Infrastructure and Operations) space, covering all things I&O leadership, and a global conference chair.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Lord spent 15 years in a consulting and teaching capacity focusing on IO strategy, lean, ITSM, IO focused Knowledge management and operations. Prior to consulting she was a practitioner managing IT operations and Service Desks.
