She researches emerging trends in data centers, including hardware as a service, consumption-based pricing (CBP), cloud computing, hyperconverged infrastructure, hyperscale and ODM servers, and IoT/edge computing. She is the lead for server forecast and also covers several quarterly statistics, including servers, integrated systems and SMB markets.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Yamada was a marketing and market research specialist in the magazine division at Recruit, a Tokyo publishing company.
