Lily Mok is a Vice President, Analyst with Gartner Research, working on the CIO Leadership, Culture and People team. Ms. Mok focuses her research on helping CIOs and HR leaders develop strategies and programs to build a future-ready workforce. Topics include: strategic workforce planning; succession planning and management; IT job architecture and career paths; digital leadership and workforce competency models; talent assessment; recruitment and employment value proposition; retention strategy; total rewards; employee performance management; learning and development practices. Ms. Mok has extensive experience in global HR and compensation consulting, and is a Certified Compensation Professional specialized in designing and developing employee reward strategy and programs.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Mok was with Mercer, where she worked as an International Consultant advising global and multinational corporations in the development and implementation of base compensation, incentive pay, equity compensation and global employee mobility programs. She was also a Project Manager for several U.S. and international compensation studies for clients from high-tech, IT consulting, insurance and reinsurance industries. Before Mercer, Ms. Mok held HR management and sales administration positions in Honeywell's Asia/Pacific operations in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Sydney.
