Ron Hanscome is a Research Vice President whose areas of coverage span the HCM application market, including cloud HCM suites, admin HR (HR data management, payroll and benefits administration), workforce management (time and attendance, labor scheduling, and absence management), compensation management, engagement measurement/voice of employee, reporting and analytics, integrated HR service management (employee and manager content portals, case tracking tools, and supporting knowledgebases), HCM technology strategy, and HCM application evaluation and selection.
Previous to joining Gartner, Mr. Hanscome worked with clients to develop three- to five-year roadmaps to guide their HCM applications investments, including timing and sequencing of application selection, implementation and deployment. He conducted evaluation and selection projects for core HRMS and talent management applications across a wide range of organization industries and sizes. He also conducted research and published extensively on HCM technology trends.
