Alexander R Bant | Practice Vice President

Alexander Bant is the Chief of Research for CFOs at Gartner (NYSE: IT), where his business insights are used by 45,000 leaders at a majority of the Global 500. His research teams quantify and share what the top companies and their leaders do differently to maximize their people, processes, and technology. Alex has interviewed more than 3,300 C-level executives and led strategy sessions at more than 250 companies including: J&J, Boeing, Salesforce, GM, Disney, Starbucks, Heineken, Deere, Gilead, BMW, United Airlines, UPS, Philips, American Express, Verizon, Fidelity, McDonald's, Allstate, and L'Oreal. Alex's data and findings have been featured in Forbes, Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bloomberg, Fortune, Reuters, The Economist, Business Week, CNBC, Yahoo Finance, USA Today, and more than 75 other media outlets. Alex holds a degree from the London School of Economics (LSE) and is an Adjunct Professor at American University's Kogod School of Business in Washington, D.C.

Melissa Davis is a Vice President, Analyst. Ms. Davis advises clients on the use of customer analytics to improve the customer experience and deliver business value for digital commerce, marketing, sales and customer service business processes and across the customer journey. She covers customer analytics strategies, trends and technologies.

Andrew White | Distinguished VP Analyst

Andrew White, distinguished Analyst and VP, has a primary research focus on the chief data and analytics officer (CDAO) role and responsibility. This includes data and analytics strategy, governance, organization and roles, business value of data and analytics and so on. He is currently the Key Initiative Leader for Data and Analytics for Executive Leaders. Andrew has held several other roles including Role-Based Research Product Lead, where he led and coordinated the overall research content plan for the new CDAO product offering. Before this he was the Chief of Research for Data and Analytics. He has also been Vendor Lead for Oracle Corp. He was the Research leader behind the first ever Master Data Management Summit in 2007, and was conference chair of that event through 2015 as it expanded focus to enterprise information and MDM. Mr. White has been the recipient of the Gartner Thought Leadership Award. The first was in 2006 for his efforts in pioneering Gartner's research in Enterprise Information Management that led to MDM. Mr. White's previous coverage areas focused on business apps and best practices in supply chain management (SCM), enterprise resource planning (ERP) and multienterprise B2B collaboration environments.

Sarah Turkaly | Sr Principal, Advisory

Sarah Turkaly is a Principal on the data and analytics advisory team. She advises data and analytics leaders on creating strategy, data governance, data literacy and function management. She has published Maverick research on ethics and bias, and supports clients in taking a practical approach to their data and analytics goals.
