This summary includes comments from eleven members regarding their use of third-party resources for project-based work and work with finite scope on human capital management (HCM) platforms. It examines the degree of access to employee data that members grant to their third-party resources, as well as the circumstances that determine this level of access when HCM platforms are involved. The summary also highlights member practices for ensuring data security when contingent resources have access to employee data as part of the contracted HCM platform work.
