Gartner forecasts global IT spending in the retail market to decline by 11.5% in 2020 to reach $204.9 billion in constant U.S. dollars, down from $231.5 billion in 2019. Spending is expected to rebound to a 3.9% CAGR to reach an estimated $279.9 billion by 2024.
