This Consult the Board survey summary features inputs from 25 members regarding the implementation of a laboratory information management system (LIMS) as part of modernizing their lab environments. It examines members' approaches for ERP integration, instrument connectivity, and data governance of their LIMS solutions.
What are members’ approaches for their LIMS strategy and what are their experiences and benefits?
Slightly over one-third of the respondents (9 of 25, or 36%) use LIMS solutions and most of them (6 of 9) use LabWare LIMS.
The majority of respondents (7 of 9) use LIMS at a global level as part of their governance structure.
Nearly half of the respondents (4 of 9) have up to 30% integration between their LIMS and ERP platforms and most respondents (5 of 8) have up to 50% instrument connectivity to their LIMS solution.
