  • The robotic process automation (RPA) software market grew by 31% to $2.4 billion in 2021, well above the average worldwide software market growth rate of 16%. The top five vendors account for nearly 66% of the global RPA market.

  • Newer entrants to the RPA market include major integration vendors and large software vendors. Almost all are augmenting screen scraping with API-first automation. Moreover, all established vendors in North America and Europe offer prebuilt UI connectors to the common enterprise platforms.
