Key Findings
Overall, 62% of employees perceive their evaluations to be fair. However, remote, on-site and hybrid employees express significant variations in perceptions of performance evaluations.
Employees expect their managers to be cognizant of their own and of employees’ emotions, and to build a meaningful relationship with their employees. However, 52% of HR leaders agree that this is a challenge.
Employees today are in touch with their feelings, and 82% of employees say it is important for their organization to see them as human. However, only 17% of employees agree evaluations are more humane now than before the pandemic.
