The 2019 Gartner Communications Awards

Celebrating global excellence in communications

Showcasing great communication

Since 2011, the Gartner Communications Awards has been the leading event for recognizing communications initiatives from around the world. Our aim is to support and showcase the great work of communicators who have achieved real, measurable business outcomes in their organizations.

Get global recognition

If you and your team have delivered a successful communications project, whether communicating through major change, engaging employees around a new initiative, shaping your corporate culture or any other topic, we want to hear from you.

A category for every initiative

Communications comprises so much more than writing press releases and companywide emails. But you already know that. It takes exceptional individuals and high-performing teams to deliver game-changing communications, which is why our awards recognize the many aspects of your work.

Awards information

We asked communications professionals to show us what they're made of, pitching their achievements against those of some of the world’s best in-house communications teams.

The 2019 categories allowed entrants to demonstrate their commitment to internal or external communications excellence, and were open to all in-house communications teams.

We made entering really easy. In less than 1,000 words we asked teams to submit:

  • A summary of the business problem that their project/initiative helped solve
  • Evidence of their impact on business outcomes and/or stakeholder attitudes and behaviors
  • Details of the initiative

We can't wait to announce the winners later this year! If you'd like to join the virtual ceremony live on 18 June and learn more about the winning entries, make sure you register to attend. Registration is now open.
