Impacts and Recommendations

  • Because of the flurry of semiautonomous, system of innovation mobile app projects, directors of integration and mobile AD leaders face the hard task of integrating a large number of apps with back-end applications and data sources
  • Tackling MAI may entail use of integration technologies with which mobile AD leaders are not familiar, and most directors of integration do not yet support
  • Mobile AD leaders will naturally lean toward using the MAI technology embedded in MADPs, tools and frameworks, and mBaaS; consequently, directors of integration who fail to support MAI-friendly technologies will struggle to maintain consistency in their integration platform strategy
