While interest in piloting Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 (M365 Copilot) is growing, for many organizations, M365 Copilot pilots are not turning into wider deployments. In a recent Gartner conference poll, only 24% of respondents piloting M365 Copilot said they were planning a large-scale (over 20% of office workers) roll out in 2024/25.
M365 Copilot is still a work in progress. Microsoft has made significant improvements but gaps remain in terms of governance, reporting and administration controls. Additionally, inconsistent capabilities across the different Microsoft 365 apps continues to impact user experience.
