Gartnerの2024年CDAOアジェンダ調査において、「スキルと要員の不足」は、データ／アナリティクスの成功を妨げている要因として1位から3位に順位を下げたとはいえ、依然として主要な課題の1つである。2023年の企業におけるAIの利用に関する調査を見ると、AIに対する成熟度の高い組織であっても、人材不足は今なお最上位の課題となっている。
同調査において、AIに対する成熟度の高い組織の87%は専任のAIチームがあると回答しているが、成熟度が低い組織では75%である。専任のAIチームを有する企業のうち、そのチームがCIO直属であるとした回答者は37%、CTO直属が24%、CDOまたはCAO直属が19%である。
領域横断型のフュージョン・チームにおける主なビジネス・ステークホルダーと、ライフサイクルの全般を通じて積極的に協業することで、AI施策を立ち上げ、実行する。
