STAMFORD, Conn., September 16, 2014 — Gartner, Inc. today announced that Robert Brese, former CIO of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), has joined Gartner Executive Programs. Mr. Brese oversaw one of the most complex IT and cybersecurity environments in the federal government.
In his new role, Mr. Brese will be a trusted advisor to public and private sector CIOs, and other IT executives for the Gartner for IT Executives and CIO Signature programs. Mr. Brese brings his recent real-world federal CIO experience to provide IT leaders with insight on their most pressing issues and business opportunities. Mr. Brese will also work with chief information security officers (CISOs) on meeting the cybersecurity challenge and managing associated IT and organizational risk.
