Marko Pukkila is a Vice President and Team Manager leading the Performance Management and Manufacturing team. His team specializes in advising clients and publishing research on market trends and thought leadership in various aspects of manufacturing strategy. These include strategy and organization design, talent management, process excellence, and metrics. Additionally, they focus on cost optimization, business value, and digital transformation in manufacturing technology. The team also provides guidance on outsourcing, contract manufacturing, inventory excellence, and optimization strategies. Furthermore, they offer expertise in packaging, labeling, artwork management, and quality management systems.
Mr. Pukkila joined Gartner after a 19-year career at Honeywell International. He held key leadership roles in supply chain and operations IT and was the leader of the global supply chain planning organization. In his supply chain leader role, he was a member of the business unit leadership team and was responsible for driving the S&OP process and all supply chain planning and execution activities throughout the division. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
