Leading in a Digital World
The theme of this year’s Symposium/ITxpo is leading in a digital world. The Nexus of Forces (the convergence of forces: mobile, social, cloud and information) is rapidly changing how business gets done by enabling new connections and driving greater agility.
“CIOs and senior IT executives are at the centre of this transformation and need to lead the creation of the digital enterprise,” said Mary Mesaglio, vice president at Gartner and conference chair for Gartner Symposium/ITxpo. “Previously, when people thought of digital disruptions in business, they thought of industries like media, publishing, banking and retail. Now, every sector - from agriculture to government to mining - needs to navigate the challenges in this new digital world.”
At Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2014, attendees will discover how to seize new opportunities, forge strategic partnerships to drive change and evolve to become indispensable leaders in the digital world. This year's program revolves around four tracks and three industry verticals, including the renowned CIO Program. The agenda is a mix of management and technology insight empowering senior-level IT and business people to make the strategic, organizational and technology investment decisions they need for digital leadership.
