Our methodology renders almost 40 telecom IT service providers with a Latin American presence. This is only marginally less than the 55 providers in North America.
The capabilities that most communications service providers (CSPs) need and want the most right now are new product and sales capability, as well as data and analytics. However, these capabilities are not very visible in provider differentiation.
Slightly under 20% of the providers have a business strategy or process background. Over 80% of the providers have a systems integrator (SI) or consultant “DNA.”
