Despite increasing finance function and enterprise investment in AI, most CFOs feel relatively exposed in their ability to productively contribute to AI planning discussions.
Many CFOs default to asking the same questions of potential AI initiatives that they historically have of potential non-AI technology initiatives. However, these questions fail to account for AI’s rapid evolution and its constantly shifting “boundaries” — that is, an organization’s expectations, limits and protocols for using a technology.
